    Here is one of 6 large SCR or Thyristor-type diodes.  It Is a 9029-254AT made by Westcode.

    I took these out of a large welding machine or battery charger (I can't  remember for sure!).
    This type is about 1500 volt and 2000 amp capacity.
    When I started cleaning these up, I used a cleaner that completely obliterated the numbers and name imprinted on the white glassy area of the FIRST ONE I worked on. After that, I used care to preserve the other 5. HOWEVER they are all the same, and some engraving on the flanges of all 6 are the same.
    I will stand behind this fact, AND that these are all functional!  No fear in buying them!!
