WW2, USMC, US Marine Corps, dress service uniform, jacket, pants, EGA's, ribbons.
Named JD Bothum.
Platoon Sergeant. 4th Marine Division who saw ground combat action after amphibious landings in the battles of Iwo Jima, Kwajalein, Saipan and Tinian.
Jacket dated 1944-1945, pants dated 1952, not unusual to mix uniforms during this time period.
Excellent condition. Jacket is a size 5L, actual jacket measurements: top shoulder seam to top shoulder seam = 17", chest = 40", top shoulder seam to bottom of jacket cuff = 26". Pants measure 34 x 31.
Original early WW2 1/2" service ribbons: 1) Asiatic-Pacific Campaign w/2 bronze stars, WW2 Victory, 3) Philippine Liberation w/1 bronze star.
