    Description

Uniform group that belonged to Staff Sergeant Jack Keshner who served with the 11
    th
Airborne Division. This group includes his Australian made 1942 dated battle jacket with all original insignia including his Combat Infantry Badge with Keshner’s name scratched into the reverse side. You have to look very close but his name is there. I took the best picture I could
of the back of his CIB. His jacket has his laundry mark very faintly seen in the back of his jacket….J.K. 3653. I believe his sergeant chevrons are Australian made. Included in this group is his OD wool shirt [Australian made?] and wool khaki tie. Research includes copies of his Hospital Admission records and final payroll record. The jacket is a size 40R.
His jacket and shirt are in very good condition. It will make a great display. There is one period repair on the lower right sleeve of his jacket [see pictures].
